Let’s start our Ibiza property search out west, where the sun says its farewells every day. A stunning stretch of coastline with myriad luxury villas, fincas, apartments and new builds available, there is something for everyone here. San Antonio (or Sant Antoni de Portmany in Catalan) is at the epicentre of life on the west coast. A bustling town where locals and tourists live happily side by side, it’s as pretty as it is famous for its bars, restaurants and clubs.

Views of the sea from beautiful villas are abundant, and that makes it popular as a place to live and to secure a scenic holiday rental. There are no end of spectacular beaches to choose from on this side of the island. From the world famous Cala Conta to the family-friendly Cala Vadella, each is lapped by the improbable blue shimmer of the Mediterranean Sea.

Beautiful west coast properties with wonderful sea views

San José (Sant Josep) is another west coast properties favourite, though it doesn’t boast direct access to the sea. Instead, it’s a hub of traditional Balearic life, where the church tower booms every hour and locals sit street-side for their morning pick-me-up coffees. Nearby is the lively beach of Talamanca, located just a 20-minute walk from the centre of Ibiza Town, and Marina Botafoch, where super yachts are docked by the world’s elite. It’s also only a 30-minute ferry ride from Ibiza Port to Formentera, Ibiza’s sister island. Following the clock anticlockwise and we end in the lush countryside of northern Ibiza, the soul of the island.
