A terrace means living space
A terrace increases the living space and surface area of your house, finca, villa, or even apartment to include something very important. A slice of quality of life; a slice of freedom. As early as spring, and sometimes even in winter, Ibiza offers countless sunny days which are ideal for spending outside on your terrace. Whether you read a good book or enjoy a cup of tea, the main thing is, you have your face in the sun. In summer, life on Ibiza takes place almost entirely outside. Eating with friends and family, enjoying a drink, and partying late into the night. Long conversations accompanied only by the classic soundtrack to the summer – the chirping of cicadas.
The different types of terrace
On Ibiza, properties with terraces are available in several variants: the ground-floor terrace that surrounds the house and looks onto a garden, the roof terrace of a house or apartment known as an “atico”, available for the exclusive use of the apartment owners, and the balcony, which we are classifying here as a terrace. All of these types of terrace have one thing in common: they offer important additional living space which significantly increases the value of your property and your quality of life.
