People often ask if a property on Ibiza needs a garage. If you only visit the island for a few days in the summer, then obviously it isn’t necessary, but if you wish to relocate here permanently and want to be mobile, the usefulness and value of a property with a garage soon becomes clear.

The main reason for a garage

The main reason for having a garage in Ibiza is the same as elsewhere: protecting your vehicle from the elements. On Ibiza, the strong sunlight is a particularly important factor. It takes a heavy toll on your car’s paintwork, and also heats up the interior of your car to such an extent that you have to cool it with the air conditioning before you can use it. Not to mention that the materials, both inside and out, are greatly affected.
