This contemporary villa features six bedrooms and was designed by renowned Argentinian-born, Ibiza-residing architect, Abraham Ariel. A house he considers to be his masterpiece, it combines bold cubist and modern architecture with bespoke carpentry throughout and a fluid interior decorated by leading interior designers from London and Bali to create a warm and soulful home. The sympathetic landscaping includes many indigenous plants and there is a beautiful lawn area from which to enjoy the views as well as an infinity pool, pool-side gym with Technogym equipment and a stylish bar and club space with professional sound system and points for DJ- decks.
Centred around a large communal living room, Casa Xarraca has floor-to ceiling hill-top views of the coast below. The relaxed modern interior showcases a notable art collection including a tapestry by Katja Angeli and canvases by Tomo Campbell, whose graduation show was bought up entirely by Mario Testino, as well as hand crafted furniture by Hans Wagner, Living Devanti and Gervonesi. The living room has a beautifully hand crafted branch chandelier by Lindsay Adelman. The owners have made an extensive investment to create a stylish home focusing on luxurious comfort, including a Carpe Diem mattress in the master bedroom.
The convertible courtyard event space has outside dining for up to 20 guests and easy access to the professional kitchen, which is fitted with Gagganau appliances including a double fridge and freezer, professional hob and wine cooler. The basement bar and club space is designed in the style of a modern members club, and has an extensive, wine cellar, which is stocked by a professional sommelier and cleverly backlit to create at atmospheric light installation.
The house benefits from beautiful social spaces that also include a large rooftop deck with fully stocked bar, as well as private outside retreats with sun beds and private dining areas. The well-appointed bedrooms, including two masters and two garden casitas, all have private balconies offering quiet and seclusion for guests.
