Cala Llenya – a slice of unspoilt Ibiza
If you’re a fan of rustic charm, then Cala Llenya is the perfect spot for you. For decades now, there have been apartment buildings above the bay on the reddish, pine-clad rocky coast, yet the area nevertheless retains an unspoilt feel. The simple, wooden kiosk dispensing drinks and snacks to visitors since time immemorial adds to this. If you wish to add a little exercise to your lazy beach day, simply grab a pedal boat and head out to sea. Don’t forget your snorkel, as there are a whole host of fantastic creatures to observe under the sea. Taking a walk along the coast is also worthwhile. The bay is usually a little busier on Sundays because of the flea market at the nearby Cala Llenya. With stalls, paella and live music.
