Over the past 10 years, they have raised money from people all over the world who care about the islands’ future. Funds are used to support environmental projects on land and at sea. By helping to preserve the islands’ landscapes, biodiversity, water and marine environment, they want to contribute to local well-being and prosperity. AMICS DE LA TIERRA
Part of the global environmental organisation Friends of the Earth, Amics de la Tierra is a local ONG that works to support a change towards an island respectful for the environment, the people and its diversity. Over the past 30 years they have been working to develop sustainable tourism projects, increase recycling, support renewable energy, foster educational school programs and improve alternative transport on the island.
