Property in Cala MolíNatural beach for individualists
This small, well-protected bay on the west coast approximately seven kilometres from San José is the perfect place for people who don’t like hustle and bustle or that glamorous Ibiza vibe. Cala Molí offers wonderful views of the nearby cliffs with their typical Mediterranean vegetation and evergreen pine forests. Don’t expect soft, white powder sand here; the beach is natural, and the sand somewhat coarse and peppered with pebbles in some spots. The slope into the sea is also not as shallow as some would expect. You may have to cross gravel or uneven stones, so the best way to access the sea is wearing bathing shoes.
What is on offer to visitors in Cala Molí?
There is just one restaurant on the beach. As well as providing food and drink, it has a pool and sun loungers. Add to that the breathtaking views of the offshore islet of s’ Espartar. If you’re a fan of snorkelling, don’t forget to bring your gear; this is the perfect place to explore the fantastic underwater world of the Mediterranean. In previous decades, some apartment blocks were built above the bay. However, the local government is trying to preserve the bay by implementing various measures and enforcing sustainable tourism.
